Prothom Alo is owned by Mediastar Limited and it is considered as the flagship brand of this company. It is published by Transcraft Limited. Mediastar Limited has 6 subsidiaries; they are Prothom Alo, Prothom Alo Digital, Prothoma Prokashon (publication house), Protichinta (quarterly publication on social, economical and political issues), Kishor Alo (A monthly mazazine for the youngstar) and Biggan Chinta (A monthly Science magazine).
